As you drive into Marble Falls from U.S. 281 North, a bend in the road as it rounds a hill gives you a bird’s-eye view of the quaint, lakeside town.
I stayed at the La Quinta off of US 281, which provides a stunning view of the Colorado River right from your own personal balcony(see sunset pictures) . I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
The pictures of the waterfalls are from Krause Springs. Krause Springs is a camping and swimming site located in the Hill Country of Texas. It is located in Spicewood, Texas, approximately 20 miles from Marble Falls and 30 miles from Austin. The 115-acre property has 32 springs, and several feed the man-made pool and the natural pool which flow into Lake Travis. -wiki
