My love for photography started at the age of 14, when I was given my first point-and-shoot camera. From that day on, I viewed the world through a viewfinder. However, in my twenties, I pursued another desire first: scuba diving. For several years, I was a Manager and an Instructor at a scuba diving store in Houston, Texas. I was able to see parts of the beautiful Caribbean that most people don't get to see. However, there was a powerful inner voice screaming. Screaming to pursue my other passion. My passion for photography was on the back burner and I wanted it on the forefront. The fall of 2004 brought the realization that I was looking for more of life than what my scuba diving career could offer. May 2005, at the age of 32, I began a new chapter in my life. I decided to attend the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana.
Since 2006, I've been running my own photography business and I am a Dive Operation Specialist Tech III at the Neutral Buoyancy Lab (NBL) for NASA
